Dusty Rose!!!

I've been on the hunt for the perfect dusty rosey nude colour. I think I've found it. Wet n Wild's Undercover was the right shade I was looking for. They only draw back is the brush is so short and fat, which makes application a little bit tedious. But I cant really expect greatness for $1...I am very content with the colour, and that's all that really matters to me in the end.

I think this will be one of my go to nudes from now on. LOVE!

Oh Canada

Canada Day (July 1st) is around the corner, what better way to show my patriotic side and celebrate a little early by doing a nail design.

The maple leaf was easier to draw than it look. Colours used: OPI-Red Shatter, China Glaze- China Rogue, Sally Hansen-White On. What I love about OPI's Red shatter is the intensity of the colour changes depending on the base colour used. Pretty rad!

Birthday Wear

On the 25th was my birthday. I don't really care to reveal my age, but I feel really old now :( Insha'Allah the feeling will pass. Here's a look at what I wore on that special day. I did do my eyes all fancy shmancy but I forgot to take pictures. Insha'Allah I'll recreate.

Trifle!!!

My sister-in-law and her family as staying over for 2 weeks, so I made some desert for their arrival. Strawberry Shortcake Trifle. I decided to sneak in some bananas as well.

I was on the Forever21 Site today and this was the first pant that came up. I am kinda digging them..does that mean I'm crazy.

There seems to be a surge in palazzo type pants going on. I would totally get the cheetah print if they weren't sheer.

I was bored and here's what I came up with. I wanted to keep the same colour scheme going on.

Plant Shopping

On the weekend we went to the Dallas Farmers Market. Let my just start off, if you are ever in the Dallas area, this is a place to go. With all the fruit sampling, cookie sampling, cake sampling..you have a free lunch right there. If you've ever watched that TV show Prison Break, this market was actually featured on one of the episodes. Off topic I know.

My husband wanted to get some fruit and I wanted a new plant because when I went home to visit my family he didn't water it and I can back to a dead plant:(

Sale Polish!!!

CVS and Walgreen's were having a sale on Essie A French Affair Collection. Walgreen's didn't quite have them for 50% off but very close to. The colour I really wanted from this collection was Topless and Barefoot, but neither stores carried them. I believe both stores are still having this sale.

Here's what I got.The 2 with the stickers are from CVS the other 2 are from Walgreens. At CVS they might ring up regular price but they are actually on sale.

Oh gosh!!!

I was gone for maybe 15 mins to the store. I came home to find my poor child's hair BUTCHERED! Oh dear, I had to shave it all of. It was unfix-able.

Yellow!!!

As of late I have an obsession with the colour YELLOW! Yellow used to be my most hated colour, so I cant tell you the reason why it looks so beautiful to me lately. Perhaps because summer has arrived? who knows!

I absolutely love getting "reduced" nail polishes at sally's. Sometimes you can find the expensive ones like China Glaze or Orly for dirt cheap!

I am trying out this foundation powder for the first time It's a shade darker, and the one in my tone wasn't there but I got it because I figured I'll gonna get a tan anyway so I might at well. The Lipstick is a little too nude for me alone, but paired with MAC's lipgelee in Jellicious, it's absolutely perfect. Too bad it's discontinued :(
